Enteric-coated oregano oil softgels with ginger and fennel oils. The 90-softgel formula uses oregano oil standardized to at least 55% carvacrol and is taken with food.
Each softgel supplies 181 mg oregano oil, equivalent to 0.2 mL, with 17.6 mg ginger oil and 19.3 mg fennel oil. The carvacrol standardization applies to the oregano oil ingredient.
The enteric coating is designed to release the contents in the intestine. NOW directs one softgel one to three times daily with food. People allergic to oregano, fennel or ginger should not take the product, and it is not recommended during pregnancy or nursing. The coating and combined oils distinguish this formula from whole oregano leaf capsules.
